By the way the game has an auto save system! So feel free to come quit and play some more later.
FAQ: Make sure to walk up to the main bookshelf in the library and choose which spells to remember. Then click the Book button to remember them.
literally can't use magic. my mouse works fine
It's a bit confusing - you have to walk to the "library" bookshelf, spend some "minutes" on the book you picked up and then press the (not so easy to find) "train" button that looks like a book. Then you will be able to use the spell.
Thanks for explaining Starovich. I guess we should of made the tutorial text more explicit. Thanks for the feed back.
